Who we are

Who we are?

CFS Sports Wellbeing Aboriginal Corporation Hub is an Aboriginal community-led organisation dedicated to strengthening families, culture, and community wellbeing through the power of sport.

We believe that sport is more than just a game—it is a platform for bringing people together, building resilience, and creating pathways for our young people and families. By supporting participation in Indigenous carnivals and competitions across Queensland, we provide opportunities for men, women, and juniors to showcase their talents, celebrate culture, and strengthen community pride.

Beyond the field, we are committed to creating safe and supportive environments where our people can connect, learn, and grow. Our programs and initiatives aim to:

  • Promote health, social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Facilitate awareness and prevention of domestic and family violence.
  • Support education, mentoring, and leadership development.
  • Provide relief from poverty, sickness, distress, and disadvantage.
  • Build strong community enterprises that create sustainable futures.

We also stand with important causes such as raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and contributing resources to research that impacts our communities.

At the heart of everything we do is our dedication to family, culture, and community. We are proud to be a corporation run by Aboriginal women and families, committed to carrying forward the values of unity, resilience, and respect for the next generations.
